For our Sunday anniversary reception, we have asked Harold Morgan to be our featured speaker. After researching the history of Evansville, its World War II years, and its transportation history, Harold Morgan is now focusing on schools and colleges in Vanderburgh County, which is featured in his latest book, Home Town History: Schools, Parks and Important Buildings in Evansville and the Tri-State.

Harold graduated from Reitz High School in 1954 and attended Evansville College and Murray State. After a career as a structural engineer for several companies, he retired and embarked on his second career as local historian and popular speaker. He has published five books: Home Front Heroes; Home Town History; Home Front Warriors; Home Front Soldiers; and Home Town History: Trains, Automobiles. His latest book was released in the fall of 2018: Home Town History: Parks, Schools, and Important Buildings. Books by Harold can be found at Barnes & Noble.
